Irish Rover, Donovan’s Pub and More: Where to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day 2023
St. Patrick’s Day is Friday, March 17 and if you’re looking for great Irish pubs, or perhaps a whiskey bar, for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, look no further. Here are two great pubs near The Cryder House and a whiskey bar that is well worth the trip if you’re heading to Manhattan.
Irish Rover

This small, neighborhood pub has been called one of the best in Queens. It’s a larger pub so you can invite a lot of friends and still have plenty of room. Donovan’s Pub
Address: 57-24 Roosevelt Ave, Woodside
It all began back in 1966, when a New York City firefighter named Joe Donovan and his father purchased the Clover Leaf Bar at the corner of 58th Street and Roosevelt Avenue. Soon the bar became a popular gathering place for Woodside neighbors and Queens, expanding to add additional dining rooms. The Whiskey Ward
